Gary George

Gary has appeared in numerous amateur and professional productions with a variety of theatre companies, and appeared on screen in both film and television. Previous theatre roles include Toby Belch in Twelfth Night, John Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Faust in Goethe’s eponymous epic, and John Proctor in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. He has appeared in Chekhov’s The Sneeze and other stories with the Adelaide Repertory Theatre, and received a Theatre Guide Award nomination for his portrayal of Enobarbus in the Adelaide Theatre Guild’s production of Antony and Cleopatra. Gary’s recent collaborations with Megan Dansie began when he played Ariel in the award winning production of The Pillowman, the Duke of Buckingham in Richard III and, most recently, Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet. Collaborators is Gary’s first production with The Stirling Players.
