Karen is currently an intern at Guy Masterson's Centre for International Theatre as the Assistant Administrator. Recent theatrical involvement includes: University of Adelaide Theatre Guild's Macbeth (Donalbain/Young Soldier) and Last Time Out to the Power of Three (Narrator/Chelsea/Young Alex), and Gin & Vodka Productions' Gypsy, (Stagehand).

She is an elected member of the University of Adelaide Theatre Guild's Board of Management and is co-directing two Guild shows this year: a student-focused Invisible Theatre project during Orientation Week and My Romantic History in November.

Karen will be playing Ismene in Antigone for the Guild in May. She enjoys playing tennis, writing stories, lazing on her local jetty and dancing until morning.
