Ron Patterson is diagnosed with a terminal illeness that gives him three months to live. Ron's trouble is compounded by his un-shakeable conviction that he's going to die at exactly 10:23pm on the night three months after he receives his chilling news. Thus, he invites his son and two daughters to a final party in an attempt to make up for the somewhat remote relationship he had with them. Of course, things don't turn out as Ron expects, and the family gathering provides the catalyst for a few revelations.

Add to the mix the early arrival of the undertaker that Ron has arranged, and we have much confusion and hilarity.
