Alison Scharber

Allison's last appearance with the Stirling Players was in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest as Candy and Nurse Flynn. She has been performing in the Stirling theatre for as long as she can remember, starting in the Hills Youth Theatre in 1988 with Joan Leslie, and going on to perform in many Stirling Players shows such as The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie, Rookery Nook and Steel Magnolias.

Allison has continued her drama training over the years and has performed in commercials, film and TV, as well as onstage for many companies in Adelaide, most recently with Therry as Miss Casewell in The Mousetrap. Other groups include St Jude's, Adelaide Theatre Guild and The Rep, with whom she was nominated for Best Female Performance in 2007 for The Heiress, in which she played Catherine Sloper.

Allison works as an extra-curricular drama teacher to school-aged children.
