Profiles Eleanor Stankiewicz

Eleanor Stankiewicz

Eleanor has had a passion for performing from a young age, and is accomplished in dancing, singing, and acting. She has supported Adelaide theatre in a plethora of performances and has been a member of both the Adelaide Theatre Guild and Burnside Players committees. She is currently the Treasurer for the latter.

Her enthusiasm to take on new challenges is reflected in her broad variety of past roles She has appeared as Mercy Lewis in the award winning The Crucible (Burnside Players), Antony and Cleopatra (University of Adelaide Theatre Guild) as Iras, Dangerous Liaisons (Burnside Players) as Cecile de Volanges, Separate Tables (Therry Dramatic Society) as Jean Tanner/Stratton, and most recently as Queenie in HONK! (Marie Clark Theatre Company).

For the Fringe Eleanor has appeared as Phoebe in As You Like It (This Rough Magic Theatre & Film, 2008), Alice in Closer (Half a Star Production, 2009), and Tulips in Open Mic (Never Enders Productions, 2010).

With aspirations to follow her heart and study drama interstate, Ele is excited to have a principal role in this production that will take her out of her comfort zone.
