Andrew Aitken

Andrew’s been involved with theatre for nearly 15 years, mostly the musical variety. His love of this pursuit, and the people in it, has led to participation both on and off stage, including as a former member of the Hills Musical Company (HMC) Committee for almost 10 years.

His performances have included several HMC musicals, including Blood Brothers (ensemble), Kiss of the Spider Woman (ensemble) and playing the down-and-out drunk, DW Washburn, in Smoky Joe’s Café, a role that seemed to come naturally to him... Last year he appeared as Jack Worthing in the Bespoke Players’ performance of The Importance of Being Earnest; a role that he thoroughly enjoyed, performing alongside incredibly talented cast members. To perform for the same Director in The Margarine Conspiracy was too good an opportunity to pass up.
