Joanne has been involved in local theatre for 30 years and has worked with many Adelaide theatre groups.such as Adelaide Repertory, Independent Theatre, Therry, Stirling Players, Galleon, Burnside Players and St Judes.  She enjoys both drama and comedy equally. Some of her favourite roles have been  Amanda in The Glass Menagerie, Joanna Markham in Move over Mrs Markham, Ruella Welles in Communicating Doors and Sybil in An Inspector Calls. She has been nominated previously by the Adelaide Theatre Guide for the Best Actress award for her role as Laura in Galleon’s Time of My Life . Recent roles in the last 12 months have been the role of Evy Meara for Galleon in Neil Simon’s The Gingerbread Lady and Muriel in St Jude’s Fox on the Fairway. This is only her second time working with THe Stirling Players. Her previous role was as M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias over 10 years ago. Joanne is delighted to be back at Stirling and involved in a play with such interesting and controversial themes as Inheritance .
