Kate Anolak

Kate has previously performed on the Stirling Theatre stage in HMC productions including Spring Awakening (ATG Best Musical 2018), Sweeney Todd (for which she also designed the blood effects), Pippin, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Producers, and Company.  She also directed A Little Night Music (nominated for Best Musical). For The Stirling Players, she was in the cast of Our Man in Havana. She has played principal roles in productions of Holiday Inn (nominated for Best Musical and Best Ensemble), Nunsense, Les Misérables, A Funny Thing… Forum, Oliver!, Into The Woods, Jack The Ripper, Stepping Out, Grease, Macbeth, and Shakespeare’s Waiting Room. Favourite ensemble roles include Anything Goes, and Calamity Jane, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, They’re Playing Our Song, and Jane Eyre.

She has directed productions of Side By Side By Sondheim, A Funny Thing… Forum, A Slice of Saturday Night, and I Love You Because, and has worked in stage management for professional (Sunset Boulevard, Cats, Beauty & The Beast) and non-professional productions including The Goodbye Girl, Little Women, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Les Misérables, and Shout!. She has also dabbled in props, design, and production management.
