Patsy has been involved in theatre for over 20 years commencing as a ‘green room mother’ to help out the local theatre group. As an active member of the Whyalla Players she worked backstage learning many skills including, sound, set design, lighting, properties and eventually moving to stage management and directing. Moving to Adelaide over 14 years ago, Patsy and her husband Denzil continue their love of theatre by becoming actively involved in Adelaide Theatre.

In 2010Pasty spent four months working with the Oz Asia team at the Adelaide Festival Centre assisting in coordinating the school involvement with the Moon Lantern parade and, in the same year, graduated with her Masters in Management (Arts and Culture). In 2011 she was successful in gaining an internship with The Adelaide Fringe working with the inaugural Caravan in The Mall team. Patsy has worked with several theatre groups in a variety of roles including, director, assistant Director, stage manager, production manager, properties, set design and as crew. She has directed musicals and plays, including Little Shop of HorrorsGrease, Beauty and the Beast (panto), the Wizard of Oz and She Loves Me. Having stage managed and worked as crew for The Stirling Players, Pasty is excited to be directing Celebration. She would like to thank her wonderful husband, daughter and family for their continued support and dedicates Celebration to the memory of her mother, Margaret Keer,
