After 7 years at University Filsell has become an expert at being an amateur: writing, directing, and in this instance, acting, all on an amateur basis. (He’s not rich folks!). Now you lucky theatregoers get to witness this young dilettante’s latest venture into self-indulgence on the majestic Stirling stage. (If you enjoy the show, that’s fine too).

Filsell has two Bachelor degrees (appropriate given his perpetual relationship status) and now studies film full-time (from a comfy chair, with the lights off). It is his desire to work in film and theatre professionally – to actually receive remuneration for doing those things he most enjoys doing.

He has directed and performed in Shakespeare plays and short and student films. 

He thanks Dave Simms and the squad of stalwarts at Stirling for giving him this opportunity to have such a silly goose fun time and hopes to catch some of the stardust that falls from his fellow castmates as they ascend to higher calibres of performative excellence.
