The Stirling Players seeks submissions from Directors for its two major productions in March/April and September 2025.

Directors should provide details of a maximum of two plays which they would like to have considered for production. Submissions should include the following:

• a digital copy (or digital link) of the script(s);
• a summary of the play(s) submitted, together with cast, set, costume and any other staging requirements;
• your vision for the production and comments on any particular aspect you would like to highlight;
• the availability of amateur performing rights for the production season;
• a summary of your theatrical experience; and
• preferred time-slot (if any).

If you would like to direct for The Stirling Players in 2025, but haven’t yet decided on a play, we have one submitted to us for consideration that requires a director.

Prior to final selection, Directors may be required to meet with members of The Stirling Players Production Sub-committee to further discuss their submissions.

Actual season dates are still to be finalised.

Submissions must be received no later than 5.00pm on Tuesday, 31^st October 2023.      This closing date is final.
